Recognizing the important role of ACEP chapters in meeting member needs, educating the public, and furthering the advancement of emergency medicine, the ACEP Board of Directors created the Chapter Grant Program in 1983 to provide financial support for outstanding chapter efforts. Each year through the Chapter Grant Program, the Board of Directors awards funding to ACEP chapters for projects judged beneficial to emergency medicine. In the current budget, $45,000 is allocated for the Chapter Grant Program, of which up to $13,500 is allocated for Chapter Development Grants.
